The Problem Nobody Talks About
Training Hard, or Training Well?
You train hard, but you don’t really know if you’re improving. You wonder whether your technique is right, but only a personal coach can confirm it. Or can they?
Am I actually improving?
You repeat the same movements week after week, but you don’t know if you’re progressing or just grinding in the same mistakes.
Is my technique correct?
You know technique is the key, but without a coach watching every rep, you’re mostly guessing.
Why am I stuck?
You put in the work but the results plateau. You lack objective data to know exactly what to change.
The Science is Clear
Better Technique = Better Results
This is not opinion. It’s what 1,392 analyzed reps and more than 30 scientific studies show.
Fewer No-Reps
The #1 error in Olympic lifts is bar path. Catch it and correct it, and your reps count.
FITIZENS, 1,392 reps, 26 athletes
More Speed
Fatigue destroys your rate of force development (RFD). Good technique protects it.
Tibana et al., 2017
More Efficiency
Every inefficient rep adds up. In a 100+ rep WOD, it’s the difference between collapsing and finishing strong.
Barnes & Kilding, 2015
Less Technical Fatigue
After rep 10, technique drops off a cliff. With a better base, you hold quality for more reps.
FITIZENS fatigue study
Fewer Injuries
Athletes with poor movement quality are 2.74x more likely to get injured.
Bonazza et al., 2017, Meta-analysis
Technique doesn’t compete with intensity. Technique enables intensity.
The Solution
Video Coach Powered by Artificial Intelligence
Imagine having a professional coach analyze every rep of every set. Now you do. In your pocket.
How It Works (in 3 Steps)
Record Your Exercise
Prop up your phone, hit record, and run your set. Any angle, any of 500+ available exercises.
AI Analyzes Your Technique
Our AI model analyzes the biomechanics of every rep in seconds, applying advanced principles of human movement.
Get Professional Feedback
Rep-by-rep score, technique classification, detected strengths, and specific areas to improve.
Record. Analyze. Improve. That simple.
What’s Inside Your Analysis?
Detailed Feedback Rep by Rep
This is not just a video. It’s a full technical report that tells you exactly what to do to improve.
0-100 for each rep
Score Per Rep
Every rep gets an objective score based on biomechanics. See which were your best reps and which ones need work.
- 0-100 scale per rep
- Classification: Valid, Attempt, No-rep
- Identifies your best rep

From Beginner to Elite
Overall Technique Rating
Get your global technical level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Elite. Track your progress session by session.
- Overall technique score
- Consistency analysis
- Progression tracking

Know exactly what to do
Strengths and Areas to Improve
The real value: qualitative analysis with specific points. See what you’re doing well (to keep it) and what to fix (to progress).
- Identified strengths
- Specific areas to improve
- Actionable feedback, not vague

Full biomechanical breakdown
Detailed Phase-by-Phase Analysis
For complex lifts (deadlift, snatch, clean), phase-by-phase analysis: setup, pull, lockout. Like having a coach watching in slow motion.
- Movement phase analysis
- Timestamping on the video
- Specific technical feedback

The Technology Behind It
AI Trained on Real Athlete Data
This is not magic. It’s an AI model that understands biomechanics, catches real technical errors, and improves with every analysis.
Exercises and Variants
From squats to muscle-ups, from deadlifts to handstand push-ups. The AI recognizes almost any movement you do in the gym.
Reps Analyzed in Studies
Our fatigue and technique study analyzed 1,392 reps from 26 real athletes. Data, not opinions.
Technical Errors Detected
We identified 968 technical errors across 41 different exercises. The #1: incorrect bar path (27% of all Olympic lift errors).
Can AI replace a human coach? No. But it can give you objective, consistent, 24/7 feedback that complements (and in many cases improves on) what you’d get from filming yourself and reviewing the video on your own.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answering the most common doubts so you can start with confidence. Can’t find your answer? Write to us.
Yes. Video Coach evaluates multiple biomechanical criteria on every rep, looking at things like movement control, posture, range of motion, timing, stability, and joint tracking.
Each rep gets a 0-100 score classified in 7 quality levels (from Excellent down to Unsafe/Dangerous), with specific feedback on what to improve.
Is it perfect? No. But it’s objective, consistent, and available on every rep. Even with a coach on the floor, nobody can biomechanically analyze every rep of every session. That’s where Video Coach adds real value.
Yes, it can, like any AI. And occasionally it will.
What matters: analysis after analysis, Video Coach helps you become aware of your patterns and areas to improve in a consistent way. The value is in the aggregate of objective feedback over time, not in any single report.
Recommendation: always review your analyses with a certified coach you trust, especially when you’re working on important technical corrections or heavy loads.
All levels. Video Coach helps you identify your strengths and recommends what to work on next, whatever your level:
Beginners: learn correct technique from day one. Feedback guides you on fundamentals like back position, depth, or movement control.
Intermediate/Advanced: refine the technical details that make a difference for continued progress.
Competitors/Coaches: compare your technique across training cycles and make decisions based on concrete data.
FITIZENS Video Coach is useful for athletes starting out with squats all the way up to national-level competitors.
Using FITIZENS Video Coach is very simple. If you can record a video on your phone, you can use Video Coach.
Full process:
- Open the app and select the exercise
- Prop up your phone and record yourself doing the exercise
- Upload the video (the app does it automatically)
- Get your analysis in 2-3 minutes
You don’t need to edit video, tweak settings, or understand tech. The app walks you through each step.
More than 526 exercises and variants in strength training, including:
- Weightlifting: Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and all their progressions (power, hang, blocks)
- Powerlifting: Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift (conventional and sumo)

Video Coach complements a coach. It doesn’t replace one.
What a human coach does (and Video Coach does NOT):
- Design your programming
- Motivate you and give you emotional coaching
- Adjust your plan for your personal context
What Video Coach does (and a human coach can’t do on every single rep):
- Objective biomechanical analysis on every rep
- Feedback available 24/7
- Precise data on angles, timing, and compensations
Even if you train with a coach, it’s impossible for them to analyze every rep of every session. Video Coach closes that gap.
Yes. Video Coach is optimized to work in real gyms with normal lighting (you don’t need pro lights or a controlled studio).
Tips to improve accuracy and analysis quality:
The more detail the camera can catch, the better the feedback you’ll get:
- Keep your full body in frame throughout the entire movement
- Different exercises benefit from different angles (lateral for squats, frontal for press, etc.)
- Avoid having someone walk between you and the camera during the set
It depends on your level and how often you use it, but most users report noticeable improvements in 2-4 weeks.
Typical timeline:
Week 1-2: you become aware of mistakes you didn’t know you had (back position, depth, timing)
Week 3-4: you correct those patterns and the movement feels more fluid
Month 2-3: the changes become automatic. Your technique under fatigue improves noticeably
The key is consistency: analyze at least 2-3 sessions per week and actively apply the feedback you get.

Between 2-3 minutes per video, depending on its length and the complexity of the exercise.
You can close the app while it processes. You’ll get a notification when your analysis is ready.
